Gary Hartfield Spearheads CareerSource’s Innovative Transformation in Tampa Bay

CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas aims to have a new CEO in place by Jan. 1, which will launch the start of a new chapter for the organization.

The organization — which consolidated across Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties this summer — hopes to build a new foundation after years of shaky leadership.

Board Chair Barclay Harless — who has served on the board for CareerSource for nearly seven years — said he’s aware there may be skepticism in the community. After hiring a new CEO, he expects senior leadership to undergo a period of reflection and begin anew.
