Gary Hartfield Celebrates Leadership and Legacy at ONYX Magazine’s 2026 Men of Honor

Gary Hartfield joined community and business leaders from across Florida for ONYX Magazine’s 2026 Men of Honor celebration, an inspiring evening recognizing men whose leadership, service, and accomplishments continue to make a lasting impact.

As Chair of the ONYX Magazine Advisory Board and a former Men of Honor honoree, Gary has a longstanding connection to the organization and its mission of celebrating Black excellence. This year, he proudly supported the event as a sponsor and participated in the program, helping recognize individuals who are creating opportunities and strengthening communities.

Among this year’s distinguished honorees were Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Damola Adamolekun, President and CEO of Red Lobster, who was named Man of the Year. The celebration also recognized Congresswoman Frederica Wilson for her remarkable contributions through the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project.

The evening served as a powerful reminder that leadership extends beyond personal achievement. It is reflected in the lives we touch, the people we uplift, and the opportunities we create for future generations.

Gary extends his congratulations to all of this year’s honorees and his appreciation to the entire ONYX Magazine team for another memorable celebration of leadership, service, and community impact.
